Welcome to my classroom!

My name is Sarah Midiros and I am thrilled to be with your child this year. I know you would like to know a little bit about me, so I will share some background information with you. I am married and have four children along with two dogs. Kate, my youngest still attends HE while Matt attends MTMS and TJ and Olivia are currently at Mill Valley high school. They are all involved in sports and activities inside and outside the district which keeps us busy.

I grew up in Yankton, South Dakota but moved to Wichita, KS in junior high. I graduated from Bishop Carroll high school and went on to attend Kansas State University majoring in Fashion Design. After a career change to education I moved back home, graduated from Wichita State University, married John and started our family. I had the opportunity to teach at three elementary schools while in Wichita. After moving to Kansas City, I taught for the KCMO school district.

Upon the arrival of my first child I decided to stay at home with my kiddos. I was fortunate enough to stay at home for twelve years before deciding to come back and teach in the De Soto school district. Since I am a parent in the district I understand many of my students parents concerns. I encourage you to feel free to contact me should anything be of concern to you.
