Beginning Monday, January 7, the cafeterias at DHS and MVHS will begin offering a revamped daily alternate hot lunch menu. These choices still meet the hot lunch prices of $2.10 for full-priced students, $0.40 for reduced-price students and FREE for students qualifying for free meals. Also included with these choices are the daily menued side items and Garden Bar.

Mondays: Hamburger, Chicken Patty Sandwich, Yogurt & Fruit Plate

Tuesdays: Beef & Bean Burrito, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hummus Plate (with pretzel rods or pita bread)

Wednesdays: Country Steak Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Yogurt & Fruit Plate

Thursdays: Hamburger, Chicken Patty Sandwich, Hummus Plate

Fridays: NEW! Personal Pizza (cheese or pepperoni), Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Yogurt & Fruit Plate

In addition, the Cafe Corner menu has been updated to reflect a more seasonal offering. As always, these pre-packaged salads are made daily in our kitchens and also qualify for the hot lunch prices ($2.10 / $0.40 / Free!). Be sure to check them out as another healthy alternate to your lunch menu. This menu will be effect through February 2013.

Mondays: BLT Salad
Romaine with bacon crumbles, tomato, shredded cheddar or American cheese, bread item, snack item, fresh fruit

Tuesdays: Cranberry Chicken Salad
Romaine with grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella, dried cranberries, croutons, bread item, fresh fruit, cookie

Wednesdays: Chef Salad
Romaine with ham, shredded cheddar or American cheese, hard boiled egg, croutons, assorted fresh veggies, bread item, fresh fruit

Thursdays: Greek Chicken Salad
Romaine with grilled chicken, feta cheese, black olives, tomatoes, croutons, pita bread, fresh fruit

Fridays: Beef Fajita Salad
Romaine with beef fajita strips, shredded cheddar or American cheese, black beans, corn, green/red peppers, tortilla strips, Baked Tostitos Scoops, fresh fruit

Beginning January 7, 2013, the DHS and MVHS cafeterias will be offering a new daily alternate hot lunch menu for all students. These selections are in addition to the daily hot lunch menu and still include the side choices and Garden Bar.

We've also adjusted the Cafe Corner schedule to incorporate new recipes and seasonal flavors. These pre-packaged salads are made daily by our staff and include everything you need for a full meal. Cost is $2.10 for full price, $0.40 for reduced price and FREE for those students qualified for free meals.
