Playgroup Information

De Soto Parents as Teachers offers playgroups for families to follow their child's lead in play in a developmentally appropriate, safe environment. 

During the 2012-13 school year, playgroups will be held Mize Elementary School, 7301 Mize Blvd., Shawnee, KS 66227. They will begin on Thursday, September 13, 2012

DATES AND TIMES - Thursday Mornings  10:00-11:00 am

 1st & 3rd Wednesday Evenings 6:00-7:00 pm

DIRECTIONS TO MIZE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - 7301 Mize Blvd. Shawnee, KS 66226

FROM WESTERN SHAWNEE :
Take K-7 south to 83rd Street. Go west on 83rd Street to Mize Blvd. Turn north on Mize Blvd. Go approx. 1 mile. School is on east side.

FROM LENEXA/OLATHE:
Take K-7 north to 83rd Street. Go west on 83rd Street to Mize Blvd. Turn north on Mize Blvd. Go approx. 1 mile. School is on east side.

FROM DE SOTO:
Take 83rd Street east to Mize Blvd. Turn north on Mize Blvd. Go approx. 1 mile. School is on east side.

Park in the main parking lot on the west side of the school. Enter the main school doors and get a visitor sticker, then walk north down the hallway to the kindergarten rooms. Room 305 will be on your left. A Parent Educator will be there to greet you and help you sign in.
