What is Starside PTA?
Starside Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a 501c3 non-profit association dedicated to nurturing the educational growth of the children at Starside.  School PTA's are associated with the state and national organizations providing child advocacy efforts, training opportunities and local support for our PTA.

What is the focus of Starside PTA?  

  • Involvement- Encourages partnership of families, teachers, staff, and the community in the education of our children. 
  • Education- Seek ways to enhance the educational experiences through school and classroom supplies and curriculum related events.
  • Communication- Focus on improved PTA communications to inform families of what PTA is doing and how to be involved.

When are the meetings?
There are 3 PTA meetings scheduled at Starside this year. The meetings are held in the Starside cafeteria and ALL are invited to attend; however, attendees must be a PTA member to vote.  Please see the Membership Form in the "Important PTA Information" link to the left.

How can I get involved? 
There are lots of opportunities for family involvement at Starside!  Attend a PTA meeting for the latest activities and updates!  If you can't make a meeting you can keep informed by taking a look at our PTA website and our PTA bulletin board in the front lobby  We can always use coordinators and committee volunteers!  A number of volunteer options are listed on our membership form.  You can also contact any PTA board members for additional opportunities or questions.

  • Staff Appreciation Committee
  • Bingo Night Committee
