Homecoming 2014 is approaching quickly. The theme for Homecoming 2014 is “One Autumn Night”.
The Homecoming Schedule is:
Spirit Week: September 29-October 3
Homecoming Parade*–Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m. The Parade will line up and begin at Delaware and 83rd Street and will go through downtown De Soto and finish at the DHS Football Stadium. **In case of inclement weather, the parade will take place on Thursday, October 2—same place, same time.
Homecoming Spirit Rally –Wednesday, Oct. 1 (Rain out date is Oct. 2) immediately following the Parade at the DHS Football Stadium. The Spirit Rally is an opportunity to recognize all fall sports and create school enthusiasm. The Mayor of De Soto has been invited and will be introduced to welcome the audience. The Band will play, cheerleaders will cheer, coaches/team captains will speak and it will be a fun and exciting event. Come check out the “Mojo Fire”!
Homecoming Pep Assembly – Friday, Oct. 3 8:50am-9:45am – Candidates will be introduced to the student body during the Pep Assembly.
Homecoming Game – Friday, Oct. 3 At the game on Friday, October 3, the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned. The class winners of the Spirit Week Participation, Parade Float, and Hall Decorations will also be announced. Come cheer on the Wildcats!
Homecoming Dance –Saturday, Oct. 4 in the auxiliary gym from 8p.m.-11:00 p.m.
