About Our School
Mize Elementary consists of a main corridor housing a state of the art media center, cafeteria, gymnasium, music room, art room, Discovery Room, computer lab, four full-size regular education classrooms, four primary classrooms, and an office complex with conference room, health office, a teacher work room, principal's office and staff restroom. Extending from the main corridor are two academic wings each containing a multipurpose activity area both of which have been converted to classrooms, teacher work room, eight regular education classrooms and restroom facilities.

Morning Session: 8:50 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 12:50 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.
Elementary Grades 1- 5
All students may enter the building at 8:40 AM.,ten minutes before classes begin.
Grades 1-5 begin at 8:50.
Early Dismissal Hours

Students will NOT have school on scheduled half days.
Elementary Grades 1 - 5
Students will bring and eat sack lunches from home prior to being dismissed at 12:10 PM
