USD 232 Developmental Screenings
Update: due to COVID-19, we ask that one parent/adult accompany children for screening and that siblings not attend. If this creates a challenge for your family please let us know.
The Early Childhood department conducts free developmental screenings for all children aged 3-5 years who reside in the district, are not kindergarten eligible, and are suspected of having developmental delays in one or more of the following areas:
- Large and small motor movements
- Speech and language
- Self-help skills
- Early learning skills
- Behavior and social
- Hearing and vision
Screenings are held monthly at Cedar Trails Exploration Center, 8201 Mize Blvd. Lenexa, KS. 66227. Parents will receive a packet of information and questionnaires prior to the screening date. Please complete questionnaires and bring to the screening appointment.
