Why is there a fee? The fee helps the school district sustain current student activities and athletic programs.
How will the money be spent? The fee helps offset the total cost of providing more than 80 extracurricular activities for students. The district estimates the fee will generate seven percent of the cost of activities. The district will continue to cover 93 percent of the expenses.
