Mill Valley Chapter: Membership Application
The 2023 application deadline was March 7th.
Electronic letters of notification will be sent via email the week of April 17. All applicants will receive a letter stating whether or not he/she was accepted.
Our chapter is proud to have been inducting new members since 2000. Throughout the year, members of our chapter serve as role models for other students. In addition to the strong academic records which established our eligibility for membership, our chapter members are leaders in many student organizations and we serve our school and community through many activities and projects.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in NHS and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
Membership Fee = one-time payment of $40
($15 goes towards membership materials, $25 for optional graduation stole). Checks can be made payable to MVHS and should be turned in to room B134 or B234.

Community Service Log 2022-23
Members must print a service log and record hours on the sheet. Be sure to take the sheet to service activities so that an onsite sponsor can sign. NHS Group Leaders may only sign for NHS-organized and in-house activities.
Member Contract for 2022-23
Members must submit a signed paper contract by Monday, September 12 at 3pm. Submit the contract to Ms. Crandall (B134) or Mrs. Stevens (B234).
