I graduated from K-State in 2002 in Elementary Education.  I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from KU in 2005.  My husband and I have been married for twenty years.  We have three children.  Our son, Lane, turned eighteen in July.  Our daughter, Claire, will be sixteen in December.  Our daughter, Emma, will be twelve in October.  We have lived in the Shawnee area for seventeen years. This is my 22ndyear of teaching.  I taught fifth grade in Piper for seven years.  I have been teaching in the DeSoto school district for the last thirteen years teaching third, fourth, and fifth grades. 

I'm Loni Muninger, a small town gal from Independence, KS. I graduated from Pittsburg State University with my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in ELL.  Gooooo-Rillas!  My husband, Toby, and I just celebrated our 15^th wedding anniversary.  We have two children, Brady-11 and Hailey-7 and one dog named Moses.  This is my 18^th year of teaching.  16 of those years have been at the BEST school ever...Horizon!!  In my free time I enjoy playing golf with my family and spending time at the lake!

My name is Macy Thomas. I grew up in Bonner Springs, KS. I attended Prairie Ridge Elementary and Monticello Trails Middle School. I competed in Track and Field for 12 years and graduated from Mill Valley High School. After High School I attended ESU-KC where I worked full time during the days at a local preschool and attended classes afterwards at night. At the pre-k I taught S.T.E.M. and PE for two years. I student taught in USD231 in 2^nd and 4^th grade. I graduated from Emporia State in 2023. I am excited to return to the school district I graduated from!
