The school district is recognized for excelling in six educational outcomes established around the vision for education in Kansas through the Star Recognition Program for 2021.
Students in Unified School District No. 232, Johnson County, Kansas, continue to score above state and national peers on the ACT College Readiness Exam.
Assessments are an important tool to help teachers, parents and students gauge a student’s progress. However, it is important to remember assessments are just one of several measures to be considered. Kansas is reducing overemphasis on state assessments and is increasing the focus on the needs of the whole child.
