Notice of Board of Education Gathering
In accordance with the Kansas Open Meetings Act, notice is hereby given that three or more members of the Board of Education may attend the following event:
Event: Kansas Legislative Session – Meet the Johnson County Delegation
Date: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Kansas State Capitol, 201 SW 8th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603
This gathering is for informational and networking purposes only. No district business will be discussed, and no action will be taken by the Board. This notice is provided in compliance with applicable state statutes governing open meetings.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education will be Monday, February 2, at 6:00 PM at the Board of Education, 35200 W 91st Street, De Soto, Kansas. The meeting will be livestreamed via the district's YouTube channel. Note: regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Education are livestreamed as a convenience for stakeholders. The video will be available on YouTube until Friday at noon, following the regularly scheduled board meeting. Special meetings and any other non-regular meetings will not be livestreamed. In the event of unintended disruptions, such as technical issues, the meeting will continue as scheduled.
