No Increase in Tax Rate

This no tax rate increase bond would allow the district to address current needs, expand learning opportunities, enhance safety and security, and improve learning environments across our schools.

Starting in 2024, our long-range facilities planning (TORCH Strategic Plan) focused on balancing fiscal responsibility with the evolving needs of our students and community. We remain dedicated to providing safe, stable, and future-ready learning environments that support student success and embody the district’s values.

How Did We Arrive at This Point in Time?

We are projected to see increased enrollment by more than 300 students over the next nine years.

After forming the TORCH Strategic Plan in 2023, we began focusing on the "O"  Operations and Planning — to improve our facilities for long-term success.

We met with multiple stakeholders and walked through every facility over the course of two months. Our meetings and site visits resulted in 400+ potential projects.

Next, we formed a long-range facilities planning group to review the 400+ projects and narrow the list by following a multi-phase process.

We used the narrowed list of priority projects to conduct a community survey that garnered 760 responses. The overwhelmingly positive responses helped the district further focus on community-supported priority projects.

We worked with architects and construction experts to generate estimated costs for these projects using today’s market conditions.

The mail ballot bond election is set for March 3, 2026, pending State Board of Education approval.
