KCCRS Background Information Our schools have curricula and resources to support individual students in achieving academic excellence according to the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards (KCCRS). The school district, through its Department of Curriculum and Instruction, works with teachers and administrators by providing KCCRS resources, materials and professional development opportunities. In the spring of 2015, the Kansas State Department of Education started testing students on the standards through a new State Assessment program.
