Going to Kindergarten

Kindergarten Roundup & Enrollment

If you have an incoming kindergarten student, please complete an initial enrollment form for your child's school to begin the enrollment process. By Kansas statute, children must be the age of five (5) on or before August 31 to be eligible for kindergarten enrollment.

All parents/guardians or incoming kindergarteners should attend the Kindergarten Roundup information night at your child's elementary school. Dates can be found on this page or on the school's website. 

What Will You Need?

Please bring the following documents to Kindergarten Roundup:

• Certified copy of child's birth certificate (required by Kansas statute)
• Copy of immunization records
• Proof of residency (copy of current utility bill, contract, etc.)
