Going to Kindergarten
We are thrilled to have your child join us for Kindergarten in USD 232! Going to Kindergarten is an exciting time for not only the child, but the parents as well.
Your first step is Kindergarten Roundup
If you have an incoming Kindergarten student, please complete an initial enrollment form for your school to begin the enrollment process. By Kansas statute, children must be the age of five (5) on or before August 31 to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.
What will you need?
Parents are encouraged to bring the following information to Kindergarten Roundup:
- Certified copy of child's birth certificate (required by Kansas statute)
- Copy of immunization records (from pediatrician)
- Proof of residency (copy of current utility bill, contract, etc.)
> New students (basic information)
