About School Bonds
In the State of Kansas, general obligation bonds, once approved by voters, may be issued to:
- purchase or improve any site or sites necessary for school district purposes including housing and boarding pupils enrolled in an area vocational school;
- acquire, construct, equip, furnish, repair, remodel or make additions to buildings including housing and boarding pupils enrolled in an area vocational school operated under the board of education of a school district; and
- purchase school buses.
