JCMHC also has dozens of free resources online at jocogov.org/county-services. These resources include weekly emails, a mental health podcast, support groups, phone apps (sleep, meditation, self-help), coping strategies and other mental health practices your can do from your home or office. As always, the 24/7 Crisis Line is available to anyone at 913-268-0156.

In partnership with EVERFI, Johnson County Mental Health Center is providing health & wellness education to educators across Johnson County. The Johnson County Educator Wellness Center is a self-guided, digital mental wellness resource designed to provide educators with on-demand content related to your unique mental health needs. Mindful by Blue KC is a behavioral health initiative dedicated to addressing access and reducing stigma to support your behavioral health needs. This comprehensive program provides access to a variety of services and tools to address depression, anxiety, substance use, and everyday challenges.
- Blue KC offers exclusive, 24/7 access to a Mindful Advocate who can match you to the right care and services. Mindful Advocates help members access tools, including in-person, text, and online therapy options specific to your behavioral health needs.

FREE Virtual Fitness Classes
We’re excited to offer USD 232 staff a FREE fitness resource provided by Jennifer Kerr with JK Fitness! These high-energy, cardio-based fitness classes are designed to get your heart rate up while helping to tone your body. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect and how to access the classes:
Class Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday at 5:15 AM (LIVE sessions)
- Format: The classes are virtual and will be offered live. If you can’t make the live class, a recording will be sent to you afterward, so you can participate at your convenience.
- Intensity: These are cardio fitness classes that will get your heart rate up while helping you build strength and tone your body. Expect high-energy movements that will challenge and motivate you.
Equipment:
- No special equipment is required to participate.
- However, for a more effective workout, light weights, resistance bands, and a mat are encouraged but not necessary.
How to Access:
- Sign up for the classes through the registration link provided by the district.
- You’ll receive the link to join the LIVE virtual class each day or the recording afterward if you’re unable to attend live.
Cost:
- This resource is completely FREE for all USD 232 staff members!
Availability:
- These classes are available for the 2025-2026 school year, so be sure to sign up and start the year with a healthy, energetic routine!

FREE Strength & Cardio Circuit Class
Join us for a FREE 30-minute Strength & Cardio Circuit Class, exclusively for USD 232 staff! Led by Javon Taylor, founder of Taylor’d Fit and former collegiate football player, this dynamic class combines full-body strength training and high-intensity cardio to help improve overall fitness. Whether you're new to exercise or a seasoned athlete, modifications for bodyweight exercises are provided, ensuring the class is suitable for all fitness levels.

This fully-equipped facility is available to all employees, offering a range of workout equipment to support your fitness goals. Whether you're looking to lift weights with dumbbells and kettlebells, use resistance bands, or get your cardio in on treadmills and bikes, this fitness center has something for everyone.
