    jagPRIDE member report to Ms. G’s office immediately after announcements.

     

    Students going to the St. Thomas Aquinas quiz bowl tournament meet Mrs. Mattingly in her room right after school today.

     

    There will be NO quiz bowl practice after school today.

     

    Students will be allowed to make requests to change their second semester schedule before school on Tuesday, December 4 through Friday, December 7.  The Schedule Change Request Form will be available in the Counseling Office or online on the Counseling website after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3.  The list of open classes will be posted outside the Counseling Office at this time as well.  The final opportunity for students to submit their completed forms will be before school on Friday, December 7.

     

    A reminder to SENIORS applying for shortened day in the spring - The deadline for Shortened Day Applications is Friday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. 

     

    Submissions for the Literary Magazine are now open. Send your work to MVHSjagslitmag@gmail.com Submissions are due Monday, January 7.

     

    Students annual pumpkin painting of “Masters’ art work” are now on display in the media center.  Come see the amazing reproductions of many various art works!

     

    Congratulations to the varsity quiz bowl team of Nathan Sheehan, Johannes Seberger, Will Hecht, Srikar Turaga, Manoj Turaga for their silver medal finish at the Eudora Quiz Bowl tournament yesterday afternoon.

    The Spanish National Honor Society will meet today during seminar following the announcements in C210.

     

    The turkey hunt is on! Collect the white, red, & blue paper turkeys hiding in the school and give them to your seminar teacher. The seminars with the most turkey points by the end of today will receive a Thanksgiving party.

     

    All members of Mill Valley clubs and activities are invited to the second annual Clubsgiving today from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the commons. To sign up, talk to your club sponsor, check out the MV Twitter page, or see Ms. Crist in GL102.

    Today is World Kindness Day.  jagPRIDE challenges you to commit at least 3 acts of kindness.  Give a compliment, message someone that you care about them, hold open a door, buy a cookie for the next person in line.  Doing, observing and receiving acts of kindness boosts emotional well-being and connectiveness.  Share acts of kindness at #worldkindnessday.

     

    Creative Writing Club will be meeting today in room B244 during seminar.

     

    Psych Club will be hosting its first “Mindful Morning” event tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. in RM B134. Come enjoy some breakfast and get your head on straight before starting your day.
