    The Kick Butts Day Volleyball Tournament will be held on Monday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the main gym.  Please sign your team up at lunch.  The cost is $1 per player and all proceeds will go to Relay for Life.

     

    Interested in becoming part of the school store staff and enrolling in Advanced Marketing?  There will be an application meeting on Tuesday, March 26 in Ms. Heffernon’s room C200 during seminar for all interested students.   The meeting should take only 10 minutes and will begin immediately after the announcements. The turnaround time for this application process is short so please plan on attending if you are interested.

     

    Youth for Refugees will be hosting a refugee simulation in the Senior Cafe on Wednesday, March 27. This is a group event for NHS.

     

    Any Junior boy interested in attending Boy's State Leadership Academy at K-State June2-7 should plan to attend the informational meeting that has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 26 during seminar in the counseling office. This meeting will give you more information on Boy's State and answer any questions you have. Please, any Junior boy come and join us. See you at the meeting.

     

    Seniors have won the class cup this year! In order to attend the class trip, you must have attended an activity of the week this year and have had you ID scanned. If you have not gotten scanned, you have a couple more opportunities: Relay For Life on Friday, March 29 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., or the Silver Stars Spring Show on Saturday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m.

     

    Next Thursday, March 28 is the next meeting for the Read & Review group in the media center during seminar.  Listen for the announcement after MVTV and come to the media center to pick out a book and write a review!

     

    University of Saint Mary is offering a FREE weeklong hands-on teaching career experience Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21. This is open to any high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior years, as well as to students who currently attend community colleges. Incredible opportunity for students thinking of becoming a teacher, specifically in the STEM field. Apply today at www.StMary.edu/fta. Deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 1.

     Attend the Research College of Nursing Summer experience Thursday & Friday, June 6 & 7. Gain valuable skills to use in your academic and professional careers. A day camp full of opportunities for 2019-20 high school juniors and seniors interested in nursing. Cost is $100 per person.     Yearbook club photos for the following groups are today in Seminar in the main gym. Students in these clubs need a GRAY pass from one of the club sponsors in order to be excused from seminar. Students without passes will not be excused for the photos.

    The Mr. Mill Valley bachelor show is TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m. in the theater! Tickets are $3 at the door, and proceeds will benefit the charity of Mr. Mill Valley’s choice. The contestants are: Juniors -- Cline Boone, Nathan Greenfield, and Ben Stove. Seniors – Blake Aerni, Zach Bossert, Steven Colling, Henry Lopez.
