MV Theatre Opportunities

  • MVHS has a variety of opportunities for students interested in theatre.

    1. Main stage productions - We perform a fall or winter musical and a spring play, open to any of the MVHS students who audition. Those students interested in tech, set, costume, make-up, or other production crew positions should see Mr. Copeland

    2. Repertory Theatre Class - This is an audition class open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Auditions are held in the spring for the following year. This class produces multiple plays throughout the school year that are presented to the general public in evening performances.

    3. Theatre classes currently offered at MVHS include Drama, Advanced Drama, Repertory Theatre, and Stagecraft. (The pre-requisite for Advanced Drama is Drama.)

    4. The International Thespian Society is an honor society. Students must earn points through participation in mainstage productions in order to apply for membership.

We hope to have you with us at future performances in our new Performing Arts Center or our Little Theater.

Check this site for info on upcoming shows.

    Fun,love & oreos,

    Mr. Copeland
