DeSoto High School Summer Activities
Mill Valley High School Summer Activities
We will offer a middle school strength and conditioning program starting Monday, February 28, from 4-5 pm in the Mill Valley weight room. Sessions will be every Monday and Wednesday from 4-5 pm. All current 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to attend. Once middle school track starts we will open up the sessions to current 6th graders as well starting Monday, March 28th. These sessions are free. The sessions are offered to provide a strength and speed development program. This program is designed to increase your speed, strength, agility and flexibility. It has a proven track record that involves strength training, form running, agility, plyometrics and flexibility training. Your athlete can and should expect improvement in each of these areas and in overall conditioning.
In the case of inclement weather, we will send information via a text message if we need to cancel or not. High school athletes will take priority if they need to come inside from spring sports due to inclement weather.
