The Early Childhood department conducts free developmental screenings for all children aged 3-5 years who reside in the district, are not kindergarten eligible, and are suspected of having developmental delays in one or more of the following areas:
Large and small motor movements
Speech and language
Self-help skills
Early learning skills
Behavior and social
Hearing and vision
Screenings are held monthly at Cedar Trails Exploration Center, 8201 Mize Blvd. Lenexa, KS. 66227. Parents will receive a packet of information and questionnaires prior to the screening date. Please complete questionnaires and bring to the screening appointment.
