The dedicated lunch team at Mize Elementary has been honored with the Making a Difference Award for April 2024. This accolade, sponsored by the USD 232 Education Foundation in partnership with Great American Bank, celebrates outstanding educators and staff within the district who demonstrate unwavering commitment to positively impacting the lives of their students.
Congratulations to Kristy Grega, Lisa Neighbors, and April Vaillancourt! These dedicated ladies work hard and have garnered widespread admiration among the Mize community. They ensure that every Mize Hawk has a nutritious lunch, working tirelessly each day to keep students' tummies full and happy. Their efforts go beyond just the lunchtime rush, including the breakfast shift, showcasing their dedication to student well-being.
This team truly exemplifies the spirit of the Making a Difference Award. Their hard work is vital to the daily functioning of the school. They manage to provide nutritious meals efficiently and with a smile, making a significant difference in the students' day-to-day lives.
In recognition of their exceptional commitment, the Mize lunch team each received a $100 check from the USD 232 Education Foundation’s partnership with Great American Bank, and a beautifully crafted award plaque designed by students at the CTEC CAPS program.
