On June 5, Coach Joel Applebee and Coach Dean Zaldivar received awards from the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association during the All-Star game hosted by Mill Valley High School.

Joel Applebee, Mill Valley head football coach, was inducted into the Greater KC Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Coach Applebee led the football team to their first championship in 2015, with six more state championship titles earned between 2016 and 2023.

Dean Zaldivar, Mill Valley freshman head football coach, was awarded Assistant Coach of the Year by the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association. Coach Zaldivar has been an integral part of the Mill Valley coaching staff since 2022.
