    The following positions are scheduled for election.

    • School Board Member, Positions 4, 5, 6 – (4 Year Term)
    • Voters within the school district vote for all positions during the General Election.

    Terms begin on the second Monday in January, 2022

    Important Dates for the November 2 General Election

    June 1 - Filing and Withdrawal Deadline - 12 noon
    September 1 - Deadline for questions to be placed on the Primary Ballot - 12 noon
    October 12 - Registration Books Close - Last day to register
    October 13 - Advance Voting by Mail Begins
    October 23 - Advance Voting in Person Begins
    October 26 - Advance ballot application deadline - 5 p.m.
    November 2 - General Election - Polls open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    November TBD - Selection of contests and precincts for post-election audit
    November TBD - Post-election audit
    November TBD - General Election Canvass convenes
    November TBD - General Election Canvass reconvenes

    Legal control of Unified School District No. 232 is vested in the seven member Board of Education, elected to staggered four-year terms. Any registered voter who resides within the boundary lines of the school district may run for election to the board. Six board members are elected to represent one of three geographic areas within USD 232. Each member must reside within those districts. The seventh position is designated at-large. School board elections are held every two years in November.

    • Positions 1 and 4 = board member district 
    • Positions 2 and 5 = board member district 
    • Positions 3 and 6 = board member district
    • Position 7 = at-large
