The state of Kansas and Johnson County are following the new CDC guidance for individuals who test positive for COVID.
Return to normal activities when both are true for 24 hours:
- Symptoms are getting better overall; and
- No fever for 24 hours (without the aid of fever-reducing medication)
When returning to normal activities, individuals are encouraged to consider added precautions over the next five days, such as taking additional steps for cleaner air, hygiene, masks, physical distancing, and/or testing when you are around other people indoors.
- Additional precautions are guidance only and not required to return to normal activities.
