The projected population growth will necessitate additional facilities in the future. Depending on remaining funds at the end of the bond issue, the school district would research and identify property for acquisition.

The Board of Education in April 2022 authorized the purchase of 150 acres in the southern portion of the district near 127th and Waverly for possible future needs.
