On Tuesday, Nov. 30, the USD 232 Education Foundation had the honor to recognize David Price with the USD 232 Making a Difference Award for the month of October. This monthly award is sponsored by Great American Bank and was created to celebrate the exceptional teachers and staff in USD 232 who are truly “making a difference in the lives of young people.”

Dave joined USD 232 as a custodian in 2007. Here is an excerpt from one of his nominations:

Dave has always been a hard worker at the district office. However, this school year he has truly gone above and beyond time and time again. From all the little things (that are really big things) at the district office to helping in so many other building locations, he's just been stellar.

The school district and the USD 232 Education Foundation present the Making a Difference Award cooperatively with the program being sponsored by Great American Bank in De Soto.

Nominations are currently accepted for the Making a Difference Award for the month of December. Nominations are due December 31, 2021. Monthly entries are encouraged as new nominations are reviewed on a monthly basis.
