Lexington Trails Middle School was recently awarded a $2000 School Spotlight Grant to implement the Generation eSports program for their 6-8 grade students. The goals of this program are to provide an opportunity for students to connect to school through competitive game play, while learning about mental health and positive self-image. 
Player health, introductory technology tools, college and career readiness, digital citizenship, and impact on popular culture are just some of the lessons available for students from eSports.
