Clear Creek Elementary was awarded a $1500 School Spotlight Grant from the USD 232 Education Foundation to help purchase CharacterStrong, a social & emotional learning curriculum.

CharacterStrong will aid in addressing Clear Creek’s goals of character development and meeting the social-emotional needs of students. Teachers will utilize guided lessons and interactive games with Tier 2 and Tier 3 identified students to teach essential skills for academic and social success. These students will gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and develop strategies to cope with various social situations.
