The survey, which was open from January 5-17, collected 644 unique responses with the vast majority of input from parents of current students. The Board also reviewed input received from the De Soto Teachers Association regarding the search for a superintendent.

Following a detailed discussion of the perceptions and opinions of survey participants, the Board finalized the candidate profile.
