Kristan Langton selected for FDA Professional Development
Kristan Langton, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Mill Creek Middle School, was one of 20 middle school teachers selected nationally to participate in the 2020 FDA Professional Development Program in Food Science.
This partnership program, developed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA), is an initiative that prepares middle level and high school science, agriculture, health, and family and consumer science educators to teach topically relevant lessons in food science to their students.
This is the 21st consecutive year of this professional development program, which is conducted by a Leadership Team of master teachers, FDA representatives, and Graduate School USA.
