Both the Mill Valley High School Boys Soccer Team and the Silver Stars Dance Team were recognized at the Board of Education Meeting on December 5 for their respective Kansas State 6A Championships.

The MVHS Boys Soccer team won the school's first ever state soccer title on November 9 with a 1-0 win over Olathe West. The team was represented at the Board meeting by team captains and the head coach.

The Mill Valley Silver Stars Dance Team took home the state championship title for the third year in a row but for the first time in the Kansas 6A division on November 21. The team is pictured with their coaches and Superintendent Frank Harwood.
