Congratulations to Dr. Gail Holder, Principal at Mill Valley High School, for receiving the 2023 Administrator of the Year award from the Kansas Scholastic Press Association. This award recognizes secondary school administrators who show exceptional support for the journalism program at their school.

Dr. Holder, who joined the school district at the beginning of the 2020 school year, was nominated for this award by Mill Valley journalism advisers Kathy Habiger and Laurie Folsom. Holder was surprised with this honor at a special assembly at Mill Valley High school on March 31. 

Kansas Scholastic Press Association is a non-profit organization committed to excellence in journalism for all Kansas teachers and students. KSPA provides ongoing support through conferences, activities, and contests.
