De Soto High School welcomes seven new teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited about our crew of new teachers, and hope you will join us in welcoming them to our school community.

• April Bergkamp joins our Math Department, teaching Integrated Math 1 and Honors Integrated Math 1.  
• Sarah Bryant will be teaching Theatre as part of our Performing and Fine Arts Department.  
• Jessica Kelley, who has been coaching basketball at DHS for a few years, transferred to us from Horizon Elementary School and will take over the Behavior Program as part of the Special Education Department.  
• Madison Langford joins our English Department, teaching English 9 and coaching Volleyball.  
• Keri Lauxman also joins our English Department, teaching Honors English 10 and English 10.  
• Caleb Reid joins our Social Studies Department, teaching World Geography/Civics and sponsoring the Pep Club.  
• Sean Riley joins our English Department, teaching Honors English 9 and English 10.
