Thank you for supporting our schools. The voters of USD 232 overwhelmingly approved $85 million through a bond election in May 2018 to address a number of needs across the district, touching every school.

At DHS, this included a new door and IP mass security systems, cameras, stadium renovations to include a fieldhouse and concession upgrades, soccer field improvements, additional parking, a new performing arts center, upgraded softball and new baseball fields, and classroom renovations to include a new engineering classroom, shop, small ensemble practice space, and a new business/marketing classroom and school store. We are so grateful and excited about what is happening at DHS.

Additionally, we have added an attendance office at the north student entrance (door #21), which allows for student entrance/exit at a monitored door during the school day – increasing the safety and security for all.

The interior renovations are almost complete – with just a short few weeks before school starts, August 17 (half day for 9^th graders).
